The 2008 St James Court Art Show poster winner has been named. Jeff Gaither, from Louisville is the winner! His artwork was chosen from 50 entries. His design will be officially unveiled at the 2008 St James Court Art Show Gala presented by Park Community Credit Union on Saturday, September 27. To read more about the poster winner…

This year’s St. James Court Art Show poster was designed by Jeff Gaither. Jeff is a self-taught ‘old school’ mixed media artist, using mostly Rapidograph pens, Black Warrior pencils, and acrylic paint. Photoshop, photography, and sculpting are some of the newer ways he has been expressing his creativity. Recently, Jeff has been designing advertising posters for and been a guest at several national horror related conventions. Jeff enjoys collecting horror related memorabilia such as toys, movies, books, DVDs, and music. Jeff also has an interest in true crime, UFO’s, crypto zoology, and conspiracy theories.
Locally, you may have seen Jeff’s art on cover of The LEO, Velocity, Louisville Music News, Wired, Louisville Music News, branding art and annual poster for The Forecastle Festival, The Kentucky Psychological Association’s “Heads-Up” exhibit, or CD covers and/or shirt designs on one of the hundreds of bands he has done work for, such as Guns-N-Roses, Van Halen, Testament, The Misfits, The Undead, Hirax, The Accused, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, GG Allin, Insane Clown Posse, Municipal Waste and local bands Two Pump Chump, My Own Victim, Stonecutters and many, many more.Jeff is a Louisville native, has been producing art for over 30 years, and is happily married with 3 children.
Jeff will be signing posters during the St James Court Art Show at the poster booth. (Booth # SJ-227) T-shirt designs will also be sold during the show.
