Dark Carnival is a week-long celebration of horror, featuring live sideshow entertainment, live bands, merchandise, after-hours parties, special guests and more! But most of all, it's about the movies! This year Dark Carnival will be screening more than 40 films over a span of six days, making the show one of the largest indie horror film festivals in the country! Screening venues include the Cinemat Screening Room, the Rose Firebay auditorium, the Starlight Drive-In, and the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater - a 1930s era movie house. Dark Carnival is held in Bloomington, Indiana (home of Indiana University- just an hour south of Indianapolis) and this year's fest runs September 16-21, 2008 I will be there, just not sure what days right now.
